Inspiramais presents hundreds of innovative products and methodology for the entire fashion industry

August 20 2020

Rich research work involving design consultants from Inspiramais and industries from all over the country, where work methodology, themes and color charts emerge that guide the production of the entire clothing, footwear, furniture, automotive, accessories and jewelry industry.

Between August 25 and 27, INSPIRAMAIS - Design and Material Innovations for Fashion Exhibit will take place. The only one of its kind in Latin America, it is known as a reference for the fashion market and responsible for driving the creative process of all industries focused on consumer and fashion products - gathering information that unifies language and methodology for the entire production chain.  This year, the edition chose to keep the entire structure of projects and releases that have defined the Innovation Exhibit´s 10+ years, only now in a digital format.

This is the scenario that Inspiramais Connection will be presented in. With hundreds of products available to the market, the project seeks production based on unique references and inspirations, based on Brazilianness and mirrored in vast research material developed by a highly qualified group of design professionals.

“The Digital Inspiramais Connection will be a special place at Inspiramais. It is where releases are seen firsthand.

The materials were developed on the themes Free Spirit, Synchrony and Zen, respectively 10%, 30%, 60% of the consumption pyramid proposed for the industries.

In all categories, it will be possible to discover innovations in finishes, sustainable processes and material structures. The visitors also have the possibility of virtual meetings with me and with the consultants of the Inspiramais Design Center”, comments Walter Rodrigues, coordinator of INSPIRAMAIS´ design center.

For Walter, Inspiramais Connection has always been a space for new experiences, and this edition seeks to emphasize the beauty of materials, their properties and their functions to captivate visitors, and provide them with a pleasant and productive visit. "Thus, fashion information, technical details of the materials and easy connection with the exhibitors' showrooms creates a creative and inspiring synergy, facilitating the search for materials and strengthening the creativity of each visitor", he explains.

Under the proposed themes, the idea of references and the methodology based on the consumption pyramid developed for the fashion industry is presented: color charts, innovative products and design solutions for the Luxury, Sustainability, Casual, Performance, Handicraft and Technological categories. The result is based on extensive work with Brazilian industries from the most diverse hubs in the country - universalizing the national product and expanding sales assertiveness.

Virtual world
Presented in the Luxury, Sustainability, Casual, Performance, Handicraft and Technological categories, visitor access to part of the work will be facilitated in pages with easy access and manipulation - all with the curatorship of Inspiramais´ Design Center, and the others materials will be presented in the showrooms of the participating companies (virtual showrooms). The presentation system of each island is through scrolling, where explanatory texts inform the positive points of each material.
“For visitation, there will be a button for projects on the main page, and there is also an icon on the page scroll. There, Inspiramais Connection can be found and from there you can browse the texts, in the talks on the Free Spirit theme that will be presented on the first day at 11:00 a.m. and will be recorded to be projected on other days. There is the pyramid methodology, the 360 degree circle where product categories are located, separated by luxury, performance, etc.”, explains Walter Rodrigues.

“INSPIRAMAIS promises to be the biggest online experience in the fashion segment in the country - translating what INSPIRAMAIS has always brought to the entire fashion industry in Brazil and abroad. It will be surprising”, Ilse Guimarães comments, superintendent of Inspiramais.
