Business rounds: with over 50 international companies registered, INSPIRAMAIS carries out the Buyer Project

August 20 2020

Worldwide business in digital connection. That is how, between August 25 and 27, business rounds between international buyers and the Brazilian industry focused on the fashion market will happen at INSPIRAMAIS. There are already over 100 international companies registered for the business rounds, from countries such as Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, the United States, India, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay, which are scheduled for over 8 thousand meetings with 100 exhibitors. Not to mention pre-registered international visitors from over 10 countries.

The Buyer Project is sponsored by By Brasil, Components, Machinery and Chemicals, an export incentive action by Associação Brasileira de Empresas de Componentes para Couro, Calçados e Artefatos [Brazilian Association of Leather, Footwear and Component Companies] (Assintecal), By Brazilian Leather, through Centro das Indústrias de Curtume do Brasil [Brazilian Tannery Industries Center] (CICB), Texbrasil, by Associação Brasileira da Indústria Têxtil e de Confecção [Brazilian Association of Textile and Clothing Industry] (Abit), Brazilian Furniture, by Associação Brasileira das Indústrias do Mobiliário [Brazilian Association of Furniture Industries]  and by Agência Brasileira de Promoção de Exportações e Investimentos [Brazilian Exports and Investment Agency]  (Apex-Brasil).

For ABIT (Associação Brasileira da Indústria Têxtil e de Confecção [Brazilian Association of Textile and Clothing Industry]) this is an irreversible process. According to Fernando Pimentel, president of the entity, “We will not have a post-Covid world, but a world with Covid. This new format of the digital and technological world is not something new, it has only been accelerated. Increasingly, integration of the links that produce and distribute becomes inevitable and technology will make a big difference. The challenge is to know how to humanize this process”.

"Seeing so many international groups signing up spontaneously in search of doing business with our products is incredible. We no longer have a time zone, travel time, airline tickets. We are arriving all over the world so that it can absorb all this knowledge that we offer”, Maria Cândida comments, from Abimóvel (Associação Brasileira das Indústrias do Mobiliário [Brazilian Association of Furniture Industries]), which will be participating in Inspiramais.

INSPIRAMAIS in the virtual world
Unique in its kind in Latin America, INSPIRAMAIS is known as a reference in the fashion market and is responsible for driving the creative process of the entire clothing, textile, footwear, furniture, automotive, accessories and jewelry sectors - national and in Latin America - bringing together information that unifies language and methodology for the entire fashion production chain.

If INSPIRAMAIS is characterized by innovations, the project seeks to overcome the challenges of the digital world with its cutting edge experience. “We are going to transform all these values and product releases into this digital model. INSPIRAMAIS is a development program for companies, which begins with research and brings these values along with a Brazilian perspective. This interaction with research and product development has already taken place and has always been interesting”, Walter Rodrigues stresses.

The Exhibit presents a type of production based on unique references and inspirations, based on Brazilianness and mirrored in vast research material developed by a highly qualified group of design professionals. The project involves numerous actions, such as the presentation of hundreds of innovative products, the main players in national and international fashion, company stands, presentation of color charts, talks and consultancies, research projects and business rounds.

International buyers who will participate in business rounds with Brazilian industries and brands are scheduled to meet the companies in the country, and take place inside virtual stands, with direct relationship between people, product presentations on videos, by a live camera, and personalized service in conference rooms.
